Two researchers from OEC (Abdulalim Youns and Jamal Aghbash) started a new phase of the field study to install another 5 monitoring stations. This phase includes Agdabya, Abozrreg, Gatron, Jofra and Derna. These monitoring stations are to measure the asphalt temperature and other envronmental data as air temperature, solar radiation and wind speed. This field work is a crusial part of the comprehensive research study that will lead to the determination of the proper PG asphalt binder for Libyan pavements.
