First Conference on Construction in Desert Areas

The first conference on construction in desert areas will be held in Sabaha on the 22nd to 24th December 2008. It is organized by the department of civil engineering , faculty of engineering, university of Sabha. The theme of the conference is devoted to the problems of construction in the desert environment. More than 35 papers will be presented and discussed during the conference. They cover number of subjects as planning, building, roads and environmental issues.
